I was pruning 3 trees yesterday- talking to them as I did so- apologising- hoping that- my excuse ‘it’s just a haircut’ -was justified. I might have been talking to myself. I like to think I was communing with the tree… as birds do. I started to wonder…from where did the phrase ‘Out of my tree come?
